This video to me is the the power of love personified and animal-fied!

Being the horse fan I am, and knowing some of what’s required using conventional means of horse training to achieve the same results this woman – who cannot speak or hear – did in 20 days using unconventional means (the American Indian way), I immediately broke out into tears of joy upon watching this video.  This is an amazing, powerful yet graceful display of love, communication, companionship, trust and faith.

To me, it’s the true story of our connectedness and interplay in relationship together as humanity and the true story of our connectedness to and ability to communicate with our animal friends and companions.

I originally received this video through an email forwarded to me by my friend.  I include a copy of the email below because it gives the backstory of the rider and the horse.  Here’s the email and the link to watch the video is below that (click horse/foal pic below to start video – it may take a moment to load).

EMAIL EXCERPT:

This is really cool……..especially with the back story below….. Peace & Love,    Jack

———-

A deaf-mute girl, on a horse that she has ridden for three weeks, not to
mention the song she picked out to dedicate to her deceased father! Listen
to the announcer’s voice crack! The horse she is riding is not even hers;
she is training it for a client and has had it only 20 days at the time of
the ride shown here.

Note that she rides without a saddle or halter and bit and (obviously)
without voice commands. She is using the method used by American Indians.
When you think your voice can’t be heard I want each of you to watch this
video. She has no voice. She cannot hear. Yet she has persevered and
achieved victory.

Click the horse/foal pic below to open the video.

Enjoy!   This is utterly fantastic!
